In the first session, we will look at what has brought you to counselling and what you would like to achieve from our sessions together.
I will ask about your background and present life situation, understanding that discussing personal history can be difficult for some individuals. I approach this topic with sensitivity, and it is completely optional to share any details about your past.
We will discuss a mutually agreed number of sessions, (usually 6 sessions), with the option to extend.
Sessions are usually 50 mins in length and take place weekly. Although I can be flexible to fit around your availability.
Contact me for an initial discussion. This does not commit you to further therapy. It is a chance for both of us to explore whether working together would be helpful to you.
